As at the 2016 Academic Year, the administrative structure of the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, as approved by the meeting between the Faculty’s professors and committee, consists of the Dean, Deputy Deans and Directors for specific Affairs as follows:
- Dean: responsible for management, treasury, supply and personnel.
- Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs: responsible for academic curriculum planning for the Undergraduate Program of Sociology and Anthropology (Sociology and Anthropology).
- Deputy Dean for Student Affairs: responsible for student affairs and public relations.
Deputy Dean for Graduate Program, Research and Academic Affairs: responsible for curriculum planning for the Graduate Program, for research, academic service to society, and international affairs. - Deputy Dean for Quality Assurance: responsible for budgeting and quality assurance.
Director of the Undergraduate Program (Social Research): responsible for curriculum planning for the graduate program in Sociology and Anthropology (Social Research). - Director of the Center for Contemporary Social and Cultural Studies: responsible for the Center for Contemporary Social and Cultural Studies’ operations.
- Director of the Thammasat Museum of Anthropology: responsible for the Thammasat Museum of Anthropology’s operations.
The Secretary of the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology will oversee the operation of the Secretary’s Office, which consists of four sectors as determined by the structural re-organization of the Faculty. The four sections comprise:

1.1. The Information & Technology Unit
1.2 The Personnel and Personnel Development Unit
1.3 The Academic Quality Assurance Unit
1.4 The Documents and Public Relations Unit
1.5 The Building and Logistics Unit.
