Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University, in collaboration with VID Specialized University, Norway, invite Master’s or PhD students at the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University, to apply for the Erasmus+ ICM student nomination under the joint Erasmus+ ICM project: THAIMIG for the Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 sessions (commencing August 2025 or January 2026).

eligibility

  • Must be a full-time Master’s or PhD student who have completed at least one semester at the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University.
  • Mandatory B2 level of English for English-taught courses. Any accredited English proficiency certificates equivalent of B2 level are accepted.

required documents

  • Copy of a valid national ID card (for Thai citizens) or passport.
  • Copy of a proof of enrolment status as a Master’s or PhD student at the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University.
  • Copy of an updated transcript of records.
  • Copy of an accredited English proficiency certificate
  • Curriculum Vitae (max. 2 pages), including extracurricular activities and relevant professional experiences, such as seminar or conference attendances and research publications.
  • Statement of purpose with an official endorsement by a prospective academic supervisor or Head of Department at Vid Specialized University.
    • Applicants MUST submit CV and a research plan to Vid Specialized University in advance to arrange for the endorsement. Contact: intl@vid.no
  • Proof of less advantaged background (in case it is available). This is necessary to benefit from the scholarship top-up, if envisaged by our agreement.
