Thammasat University, Tha Phrachan Campus, is in a historic area of Bangkok (Phra Nakorn) with major tourist attractions within the vicinity such as the Grand Palace, the National Museum, Bangkok, Wat Pho (The Temple of the Reclining Buddha), Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn), etc.
There are numerous 2* to 3.5* hotels and hostels to choose from, many of them are within a walking distance (0.2 – 1.2 km.) from the university. There are also many 4* – 5* hotels, a number of which offers impressive view from the Chao Phraya River bank.
Some of you may opt to stay in other areas, preferably those along the BTS or MRT lines. However, please be informed that you should allow sufficient time for your journey to the venue especially during rush hours. Traffic delays in many parts of Bangkok are often unpredictable.
Since there are a great variety of accommodations available, IUAES2015 would rather not restrict delegates’ choices with batch promotions or offers.
